🎤 TEDxClevelandStateUniversity is just TWO days away!

We're excited to cheer on one of our own! Mandi Goodsett, Performing Arts and Humanities Librarian at the Michael Schwartz Library, will be among the featured speakers at this year's TEDxClevelandStateUniversity.

Mandi's talk, "The Cure for Cynicism Isn't More Suspicion," explores how curiosity can help us rethink our relationship with information, attention, and the digital world.

🎨 Celebrating National Arts Month: A Special Collection with a CSU Connection

October is National Arts Month, and the Michael Schwartz Library is celebrating with a special book display featuring materials generously donated by Lynne Reno, a Cleveland State University alumna and longtime art history educator.

Lynne's journey began at Cleveland State University, where she studied Art History. She later earned a master's degree in Library Science from Kent State University and devoted much of her professional career to teaching Art History at Edinboro University in Pennsylvania.

Reflecting on her education, Lynne credits much of her success to the outstanding faculty who influenced her during her time at CSU, particularly June Hargrove, Jan van der Meulen, and Walter Leedy.

Her generous donation brings art history resources to a new generation of students, researchers, and art enthusiasts.
