SMU YES Seminars presents: "Following Your Passion: My Road from Middle School Director to College Professor"
How do you get from a middle school band hall to a college podium? Join us for an evening with Charles Aguillon as he shares the path his career has taken and what he's learned along the way.
Charles Aguillon is Director of Athletic Bands at SMU and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Music in the Meadows School of the Arts. An educator for over 30 years, he most recently served as Director of Fine Arts and Academic Enrichment for Lake Travis ISD in Austin. His previous positions as a band director, campus administrator, and district administrator were in the Georgetown and San Marcos school districts.
