Kimberly Whitmore ’27, a Biochemistry & Molecular Biology major, will be interning with the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science as part of the Medical Examiner Office Internship – Forensic Science Rotation!⁠

Kimberly worked with a career coach and the CCPD team throughout the application process—from refining materials to preparing for interviews. The opportunity was also supported through alumni connections, making this a true office-wide success.⁠

Kimberly shares, “During my internship at Mayo, I will be learning about the field of pathology and forensics. In my role, I will participate, and observe, the process behind death investigation, autopsy examination, and communication with agencies working in conjunction with the medicolegal team.”⁠
