If you’re starting to think about auditions, internships, or your next step in theatre, your resume matters more than you think—and it doesn’t have to be intimidating to build one that works. This two-part workshop series is designed to give you practical, real-world guidance from someone who’s actively working in the industry.
On Friday, April 24, you’ll meet Craig Campbell, Producing Director of Cygnet Theatre, who will walk you through what theatre professionals actually look for in a resume. The first hour (12–1 PM) will focus on technical theatre resumes—how to organize your experience, highlight your skills, and present your backstage work clearly and professionally. The second hour (1–2 PM) will shift to performance resumes, covering formatting, credits, training, and how to make your materials audition-ready. You’re welcome to attend either session or stay for both, depending on your interests.
This is a great opportunity to ask questions, get clarity, and start shaping a resume that reflects your work and goals. If you already have a resume, bring it with you—seeing real examples often makes the process much easier.
Then on Friday, May 15, you’ll have the chance to take things further with one-on-one resume review appointments. After applying what you’ve learned, you can get individualized feedback and fine-tune your resume so it’s ready to use.
Whether you’re building your first resume or revising an existing one, this workshop is meant to give you tools you can actually use right away.
