BROTHER OF THE MONTH | Jack Finnigan

From early morning runs in New Orleans to Ironman competitions, Jack Finnigan has helped inspire a tradition of pushing limits and pursuing new challenges alongside his SAE brothers.

What began in 2023 with a half-marathon grew into marathons, Ironmans, and more, strengthening not only the brothers’ physical endurance but also the bonds of their chapter. Through early-morning workouts, miles logged around Audubon Park, and race days spent cheering each other on, Jack and his brothers showed what it means to set the standard and to challenge one another to go further.

Now, Jack is taking on a new challenge. After traveling through Southeast Asia, he’s preparing to enlist in the U.S. Army. Before boot camp, he’ll run the New York City Marathon in support of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, raising funds to support people living with paralysis.

We’re proud to recognize Jack for the example he’s set within his chapter and the spirit of determination he continues to carry beyond it.

Some things change. The legacy remains.

We’ve been rediscovering old photographs of the Levere Memorial Temple and taking a look back at the history captured in these images.

Now, we’re working to digitize even more photos so we can share more of the Temple’s story, from its early days to the place we know today.

Consider this the first look back. More memories from the archives are on the way.

Some men make music. Others make history. This brother does both.

Our latest Men of Minerva spotlight features Dierks Bentley, a country music superstar and SAE brother.

From chart-topping hits to sold-out arenas, Dierks has built a career that has made him one of country music’s most recognizable names. But before the stages and the spotlight, he was part of something bigger: the bonds of our Sigma Alpha Epsilon.

Join us in celebrating a True Gentleman whose impact reaches far beyond the music. Phi Alpha Brother Dierks Bentley!

Exceptional leaders put the Creed in action on a daily basis.

“whose deed follows his word; who thinks of the rights and feelings of others, rather than his own;”

In this 1-minute reflection, Matt Weinstein (Northern Iowa ‘ 94), shares about a life-changing exchange that altered how he chooses to lead and live every day since.

This is your opportunity to sit at the table with exceptional SAE Brothers who will challenge, inspire and help you grow… and leave with skills you’ll use for a lifetime.
