On behalf of the NFL Alumni Association, we’re inviting all students, faculty, and staff to join us for the Be the Breakthrough in Sickle Cell Disease Lunch & Learn.

Sickle cell hits our community differently, and treatment is changing. This is a chance to talk openly about what’s possible. Hear from Sickle Cell Warriors, Houston doctors, community leaders, and National Football League Alumni, including former NFL player Devard Darling.

What a powerful afternoon! 🖤

In celebration of Women in Pharmacy Day, our College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences hosted a Women in Pharmacy Fireside Panel, and the conversation did not disappoint.

Moderated by Rodney Cox, our panel brought together trailblazing women pharmacists across academia, industry, clinical, and community practice: Dean Aisha Moultry, Nikki Lewis, Monica Green, and Marla Fielder. They shared their journeys, the challenges they’ve overcome, and real talk on leadership, resilience, and what it means to be a woman shaping the future of pharmacy.

To our students, alumni, faculty, and staff who came out, came curious, and came ready to be inspired: thank you. Seeing our whole COPHS community in the room made the day even more special. The future of pharmacy is bright, and it looks like you. 💜

The COPHS Tiger Rx Health Festival & 5K is almost here. Join Texas Southern University’s Joan M. Lafleur College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences as we celebrate American Pharmacists Month with a morning of movement, wellness, and community.

Run or walk the 5K, then stay for the health festival: food, music, and free screenings from our COPHS students.

Summer Academy wrapped last week and our newest Tigers are ready! 🐯❤️

Our incoming PharmD students spent Summer Academy strengthening their foundational knowledge, developing skills for success, and getting a head start on what it means to be a COPHS student.

We closed out the experience with a student mixer, giving the Class of 2030 a chance to relax, fellowship with their classmates, and connect with the faculty and staff who will support them throughout their PharmD journey.

The foundation has been laid, the connections have been made, and they are prepared to take on the year ahead. Welcome to COPHS, Class of 2030! 🎓💊

Texas Southern University's College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences was proud to host the U.S. Navy for a conversation about the future of healthcare education and workforce development.

Together, we explored meaningful partnership opportunities, including experiential education and internship pathways, affiliation agreements, and future collaborative initiatives that will benefit students across the health sciences.

Conversations like these open doors for our students and strengthen the pipeline of skilled, service-driven healthcare professionals ready to serve their communities and their country.
