Meet Laura Thompson, one of the expert instructors leading the AP Summer Institute at Rice University. With 30 years of experience teaching art and 15 years as an AP reader and table leader, Laura brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the program.

When asked what inspires her to teach, Laura shared, "I am a big fan of the program, especially our most recent iteration. It gives the chance to help students create a curriculum of their own design, which I feel is very powerful."
