Last week, School Literacy and Culture hosted an observation day for the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation’s Classroom Storytelling cohort at Houston Independent School District’s Ninfa Laurenzo Early Childhood Center! Residents toured the OWL and STEM labs and watched a homeroom teacher model storytelling and story acting in action. It was a great day of seeing research-backed literacy practices live in the classroom!
