Reminiscing on last week’s Phi Mu National Convention! 👩‍⚖️🩷🌎

Last week, our President, Membership Director, and Chapter Advisor attended Phi Mu’s 59th National Convention in Atlanta, Georgia! Held every two years, this event gave our members the opportunity to attend business meetings, participate in the National Initiation Ceremony, and be recognized with several national awards.

We are so proud of our Alpha Sigma chapter for being named a Philomathean Society Award recipient! As one of only 17 chapters nationwide to earn this prestigious honor, we were recognized for excellence in chapter operations, financial stewardship, membership experience, and overall chapter success.

Additionally, our very own Camryn Detillier received the Gerald & Sheldon Pollack Philanthropic Award for her philanthropic leadership and commitment to advancing Phi Mu Foundation’s mission. Our chapter also received the Zenobia Wooten Keller Sisterhood Development Award and was recognized as a Contributing Chapter to Phi Mu Foundation’s Chapter Fundraising Campaign for the Biennium.

We also received Honorable Mention for the Polly Bird Freear Booth Cowheard Panhellenic Award and the Lila Chapman Scholarship Award!

We are so excited to bring these awards home to Alpha Sigma! We feel incredibly honored to be recognized nationwide for the hard work and dedication of our members. What a blessing it is to share the love of being a Phi Mu!!!
