A postsecondary program for young adults, who are neurodiverse between 18-25 years of age.

Pathway at UCLA Extension is a two-year program providing a blend of educational, social, and vocational experiences to students with intellectual disabilities. The program provides an opportunity for our students to fully engage in the UCLA campus while also receiving specialized instruction and support.

Pathway Summer Experience highlight 1!☀️

Sharing our first Pathway summer experience highlight of the week! Students at camp were able to experience campus life by spending the week living in the campus dorms and enjoying their meals at the campus dining halls.

Students at camp shared that the food was great and had a great time staying in the dorms!

The first ever Pathway Summer Experience was a success! ☀️🐻

Last week we hosted 20 summer Pathway bruins for a long week of fun, learning, and adventure. These students participated in many activities including campus tours, basketball tournaments, vision board workshop, accessible yoga, gaming studio, music studio, botanical gardens visit, planetarium, learning life skills and more!

We want to thank all of the students who took part in our very first summer experience! We would also like to thank all the staff, counselors, campus organizations, and guest speakers who helped bring this experience to life!

We are very excited to announce our very first Pathway Summer Experience! Hosted on the iconic UCLA campus, the Pathway Summer Experience is an overnight residential program designed for neurodivergent adults ages 18-26. Throughout the program participants will engage in a dynamic mix of recreational activities and seminar style workshops focused on independence, self-advocacy, and college readiness.

Whether you’re exploring higher education for the first time or looking to build the skills needed to thrive in an inclusive college environment, Pathway offers a supportive, structured space to grow.

When: Sunday August 2nd - Friday August 7th 2026
Where: UCLA Campus
Cost: $1750

Its not too late to register! Join us tonight for our free Xopen course on mindful advocacy. This class is perfect for individuals with disabilites who want to be better self advocates, or parents and caretakers navigating disability rights.

This X Open course is an introduction to advocacy for people with disabilities. We will spend this session discussing the basics of disability rights and what it means to be a good advocate. If you enjoy this session, considering enrolling for the full Mindful Advocacy Course in the spring.
