MSHRM at USC

MSHRM at USC Welcome to the official page for the MS in Human Resource Management program at the Univers The MSHRM program is offered through USC Bovard College.

The online Master of Science in Human Resource Management program is designed to prepare professionals to advance their careers in the field of human resources (HR). The program emphasizes the strategic role that human resources plays in the performance of global organizations, providing students with the knowledge and skills needed to be effective partners. We help you bridge the gap between aspi

ration and ability — matching your vision for your future with the knowledge and tools to realize your goals. Our namesake and inspiration is Emma Bovard, one of the first students to enroll at USC in 1880. An early advocate for equal access to quality educational opportunities, she also exemplified USC’s longstanding commitment to diversity in our student body. Following that example, we’ve made it our purpose to remove barriers and unlock opportunity, making an extraordinary graduate education more accessible than ever before.

77% of C-suite leaders say culture is "very important," while only 37% of entry-level employees feel the same way. Executives are also 2.5x more likely than entry-level staff to view their company's culture as well-defined.

Culture only works when employees at every level believe in it. The HR leaders who can instill that belief, are the professionals organizations need the most.

In our 10th year at Bovard College, for we celebrate our namesake, Emma Bovard. She was one of the first students to enroll at USC after its founding in 1880, and she returned as its first lady from 1903 to 1921, when her husband George Finley Bovard served as university president. Emma Bovard recognized diversity as a powerful force for good, championed women’s rights, and established philanthropic initiatives still in place today. Her commitment to access and opportunity lives on through the Bovard College mission.
