UMass Lowell alumni and friends recently gathered for an evening of celebration at the home of Kim and Brian Rist ’77, where members connected over conversation, tuned in to recent developments regarding the university, and commemorated our continued growth.

Guests also created their own bouquets featuring flowers grown at our Rist Urban Agriculture Greenhouse and Farm on campus - a small but meaningful connection to the work and spaces supported through the Rist Institute. 💐

We’re grateful to Brian and Kim Rist for bringing together the UMass Lowell community and their commitment to the university, sustainability and innovation.

The UMass Lowell Alumni community is deeply saddened by the passing of Janet Lambert Moore, a gifted artist and dear friend to so many of us.

Janet wasn’t a UMass Lowell alumna, but she loved this university as if she were, and we considered her family. Her artwork fills our offices and hallways and has been part of our events and communications for years, helping tell the story of UMass Lowell and the city she loved.

We are grateful for Janet, her friendship, her incredible talent, and the lasting mark she leaves on our River Hawk community. Our hearts are with her family and all who loved her. 💙
