As part of Health-Promoting University Week at K-State, Jon McGraw, co-founder of Vision Pursue and K-State alumnus, shared insights with students and faculty on developing a performance mindset in both work and everyday life.

One takeaway from the workshop: when facing a difficult task, shift your mindset and say, “This is the good part. Bring it on.”

Thank you to Jon McGraw for sharing his time and wisdom, and to the Staley School of Leadership, Snyder Leadership Legacy Fellows, and the College of Business for sponsoring the event.

This spring, the Graduate School, in partnership with the Staley School of Leadership, hosted the Leading Change Workshop Series.

Throughout the semester, graduate students explored topics related to leadership in groups, teams and communities while developing non-technical skills that support academic success and career readiness. These workshops also created opportunities for students to connect and build community across disciplines.

Be sure to check back for workshop information in Spring 2027.
