Join our team as the next Graduate Assistant for the Asian American Center at Tufts University! This position is ideal for graduate students who will be around the greater Boston area next academic year – you do not need to be enrolled at Tufts to apply.

Time commitment:
15 – 20 hours a week, hybrid modality
Fall semester: August 1, 2026 – December 23, 2026
Spring semester: January 20, 2027 - May 23, 2027

Starting next week the AAC will change its building hours (during finals: May 4th - 8th). Monday - Thursday we will close earlier at 6:00 PM. Friday hours will remain the same (closing at 5 PM). For the rest of this week our hours will remain the same. Have a great finals season everyone!

The Division of Student Diversity and Inclusion (DSDI) is excited to bring back a long-running Orientation program - Many Stories, One Community. Rising juniors and seniors who are involved with any of the DSDI Centers (Africana Center, Asian American Center, Center for STEM Diversity, FIRST Resource Center, Indigenous Center, Latinx Center, LGBT Center, Women's Center) are eligible to apply.

Many Stories, One Community is a speaker event that allows first year students to hear directly from upperclassmen who are involved with DSDI centers. Selected candidates will return to campus during Orientation where they will share stories about how they have found community and a sense of self through DSDI Centers and other spaces on campus. Students will receive support from DSDI staff over the summer to help them craft their stories. Housing and meals will be provided by DSDI during this early campus arrival.

Please apply by May 6th at 11:59pm ET for priority consideration. Interviews will be conducted in late May/early June.

Celebrate the end of APIDA month TONIGHT with some acoustic live music! Round TWO of the AAC Tiny Desk Series will feature freshmen trio June, Christian, and Harrison followed by a solo performance from intern Krrish 🎶.

The Asian American Center Awards nominations are now live! Nominate folks for one of 4 awards! (1) Student Leadership Award, (2) Graduating Senior Award, (3) Outstanding Student Organization Award, and (4) Award for Asian American Student Advocacy.

Self-nominations are encouraged!

Nominations close on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 11:59pm.

Winners will be announced during the AAC Awards Reception on Thursday April 23 from 5:30 - 6:30 PM at the Remis Sculpture Court.
