Welcome to the AAC’s First-Year Social: Keychain and Bracelet Making! Join us on Monday, November 2nd in the Mango Room at the Asian American Center to make keychains and bracelets and meet fellow freshmen!

Join us next Wednesday, October 28th from 7:30-9:00 PM in the AAC’s Ube Room for a guided discussion exploring colonial, political, and religious impacts on South Asian languages and linguistics.

We will start with a presentation on the history of South Asian languages, then transition into a guided discussion about how these histories affect current linguistic trends and politics. No linguistic, political, or historical background/knowledge is necessary. Snacks and/or drinks will be provided!

Revive yourselves this Friday 23rd, 4-5pm at the SMFA Fenway campus in Room B028 (230 Fenway, Boston) with us and Graphic Novel Club to make pins, while learning about the history of pin making in identity and culture!

Join us next Wednesday, October 14, from 7:30-9pm at the AAC for an embroidery workshop on traditional South Asian stitching. Learn the history behind common embroidery patterns across the region and how to stitch them yourself. All materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you’d like. No experience required, all we ask is that you come ready to learn!

Have you ever used a Tufts Bike? Join us Saturday, October 10 at 10am for a leisurely bike ride of about 10 miles. Meet at the AAC and then we will pick up our bikes and helmets together. Space is limited so please RSVP via the Google Form in our BIO!

This is my third year as an Intern! I have organized FIRST Asians, Transfer Student Social, and various other events at the AAC.

I have two cats and I love collecting sports cards!
