The Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice is a major academic unit within FIU's School of International and Public Affairs. The department offers Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Criminal Justice, a Bachelor degree in Crime Science, and a PhD in International Crime and Justice. Both the Bachelor and Master degree programs are offered on-site and fully online (http://online.fiu.ed

u). Joint graduate degrees in collaboration with FIU's College of Law (JD/MSCJ) and with the Department of Public Administration (MSCJ/MPA) are also available. The combined bachelors/masters degree program is also popular among undergraduate students. This program affords qualified undergraduate students the opportunity to take up to 12 credit hours of approved graduate courses, which can then be counted as dual credit for both the undergraduate and graduate degrees in criminal justice. Internship opportunities are plentiful for undergraduate students, as we have internship placements in numerous local, state and federal agencies.
