On Friday night at Discovery World, we were honored to present the 2026 Divine Servant Award to Willie and Korie Robertson and Sadie Robertson Huff. The evening’s highlight was a heartfelt yet very entertaining on-stage conversation with our award recipients and President Johnson. Hearing this father, mother, and daughter share their faith, family values, and hearts for service was truly inspiring. (And we sent them home to Louisiana with plenty of Wisconsin cheese and Kringle!) Here are a few of our favorite photos from the event. Dr. Jason Badura and Dr. Wendy Close are leading a 12-day "Culture and Identity" study tour in London and Paris. Traveling with WLC students and an alumnus, they have visited Westminster, Windsor Castle, and Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. Safe travels!

“As a dad, I’m just really grateful.”

President Johnson took off his “President’s hat” to put on his “Dad hat” during his Spring 2026 Commencement address. Reflecting on 18 years at Wisconsin Lutheran College, he shared the profound impact this Christian community has had on his own family – witnessing firsthand how the Holy Spirit works through our faculty and staff to equip students for lives of Christian leadership.

We are so deeply grateful for the gift of WLC and the way our Lord works through this place.

WLC awarded diplomas to more than 180 graduates this semester. The college’s 2026 grads were from 16 states and three foreign countries, representing 37 academic programs. Debra Waller, Chairman and CEO of Jockey International, Inc. - and a member of WLC's Board of Regents - delivered the keynote address during the May 9 ceremony. Grace Hennen was the student speaker, and 2010 grad Alex Allister welcomed graduates to the ranks of WLC alumni. On May 9, the Wisconsin Lutheran College community gathered to celebrate spring commencement. It was a day filled with joy, reflection, and Warriors pride.
