Leaders Connect is a leadership retreat for elders, deacons, preachers, church leaders and Bible class teachers (and their wives). It will take place June 19-20 on the campus of Faulkner University.

The cost per person is only $75 and includes 4 meals plus 1 night lodging on campus. If staying off campus, the price per person is $50 and includes 4 meals.

🎉Congratulations🎉 to Caleb Otey on his graduation from Faulkner University. Caleb double majored in Biblical Studies and Computer Science. He is the son of Melvin and Jania Otey of Wetumpka, AL. He plans on pursuing work in ministry and computer science and working on graduate degrees in both fields. Caleb was also honored as this year's Mr. Faulkner and by Faulkner's faculty to receive the President's Award, the highest honor awarded solely by the faculty.

🎉Congratulations to Mary-Austin Stabler! 🎉 Mary-Austin will complete her degree in youth and family ministry this summer. She is from Montgomery, AL, and is the daughter of Phillip Stabler (deceased) and Reba Stabler Street and Steven Street. She says, “My time at Faulkner has not been perfect—I’ve had ups and downs, especially in my personal life—but I’ve learned how to keep going. Through it all, I have grown stronger, deepened my faith, and learned to rely on God in a more real way. I am especially thankful for the love and support I’ve received from the staff and faculty at Faulkner, who have poured into me and encouraged me along the way.” After graduation, she will be moving to LaGrange to continue growing in both ministry and theology while actively serving others, trusting God to guide her next steps.

🎉Congratulations to Derek Carter who is graduating this spring!🎉 Derek is the son of Jason and Maria Carter. He is from Fort Thomas, Kentucky, and attended Heritage Christian University and preached in north Alabama before coming to Faulkner in the Fall of 2024 as a Zorn Scholar. While in school at Faulkner, he has also been preaching for the Jay Church of Christ in Jay, Florida, and he will be continuing in that work following graduation. He is engaged to be married in June and looks forward to many years of service in God's Kingdom.

Research and Scholarship Day has returned to campus and will be held on April 15! Please join us in Lester Chapel beginning at 1:00 PM as faculty present their research.

A total of six students will defend their university honors theses:

Emma Cagle, Health Sciences
Brooklyn Oliver, Health Sciences
Caleb Otey, Bible and Arts and Sciences
Cherith Pettit, Arts and Sciences
Hanna Smith, Arts and Sciences
Madalyn Strickland, Education

The thesis represents the culmination of their work in the university honors program, with topics ranging from phantom limb pain to Alzheimer's, cults, education, and technology. Come out to support and celebrate these students in a tremendous accomplishment!
