Our HVAC/R program is connecting classroom learning with real-world industry experience!

Our new HVAC/R instructor, Troy Gonzalez, recently visited United Mechanical and Family Air Conditioning & Heating to learn more about the skills and technology shaping today's HVAC industry.

From the growing use of AI in diagnostics to the importance of customer service and employability skills, these visits help ensure our students are prepared for successful careers.

Tuning Instruction to Industry 🐾

Dr. Rolando Ramirez Gonzalez recently joined LWTC leadership for visits to four local veterinary hospitals to hear directly from employers about the skills they need in the workplace.

The feedback was overwhelmingly positive! Employers shared that LWTC Veterinary Assisting students and graduates arrive with the scientific knowledge, hands-on skills, and professionalism needed to contribute in a real veterinary hospital setting.

These industry partnerships help us make sure our students are learning the skills that matter most, and are prepared to succeed from day one.
