On October 15, Pace held its official ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new-and-improved One Pace Plaza East.

Did you know that the transformed facilities boast a total of 5,000+ new lighting fixtures and accessories across new theaters, support spaces, and classrooms?

That's not all. The lighting upgrade also promises to reduce Pace's carbon footprint by the equivalent of the carbon sequestered by more than 238 acres of forest in one year.

Just one of many reasons to be excited about this new chapter for Pace's New York City campus!

On Thursday, October 22, Pace held its milestone 30th Annual Edward J. Mortola Legacy Society Recognition Luncheon.

Founded in 1992, the Edward J. Mortola Legacy Society was created to honor individuals who demonstrate their exceptional belief in the Pace mission by choosing to include the University in their wills and estate plans—providing meaningful support that lasts well beyond the limits of a lifetime. Soon after the society's founding, the recognition luncheon was established as an annual tradition to celebrate current members and honor new inductees.

This year's historic 30th anniversary luncheon included a panel discussion between distinguished faculty and staff on student leadership of Pace’s strengthening commitment to civic engagement, a stirring speech from current Pace student and planned giving scholarship recipient Marielette Sanchez ’28, the annual new member induction ceremony, and an exclusive tour of the new, state-of-the-art facilities at One Pace Plaza East.
