Founded by the Vincentian community in 1856, Niagara University is a comprehensive institution, blending the best of a liberal arts and professional education, grounded in our values-based Catholic tradition. Niagara's colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business Administration, Education, Hospitality, Sport, and Tourism Management, and Nursing offer programs at the baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral level. As the first Vincentian university established in the United States, Niagara prepares students for personal and professional success while emphasizing service to the community in honor of St. Niagara’s institutional commitment to service learning has led to its inclusion on the President’s Honor Roll for Community Service every year since its inception in 2006, and its recognition with the Carnegie Foundation’s Classification for Community Engagement.

Opening doors and building brighter futures.

Niagara University is proud to partner with Say Yes Niagara Falls and the Niagara Falls City School District to expand educational opportunities for students and families in our community.

"For generations, Niagara University has been proud to educate future leaders form Niagara Falls, including the current and former superintendents of the Niagara Falls City School District," said Father Maher. "When Niagara Falls students succeed, our entire region succeeds."

Select Niagara Falls students will attend Niagara University with support from a $1 million scholarship fund, made possible in part by a gift from Larry and Mary Montani. This funding is part of a broader multimillion-dollar Niagara Falls scholarship fund dedicated to removing financial barriers to higher education.

To support the Say Yes Niagara Falls and Niagara University partnership with a gift, please contact Jaclyn Rossi Drozd, Vice President for Institutional Advancement, at [email protected].
