Recently, the ART InTRO project issued over $1 million of internal seed funding to support 30 translational research projects on OU's Norman campus. Supported by a National Science Foundation grant, this will be the largest round of competitively awarded, internal funding made by the ART InTRO project since its inception in 2024.

The funded projects range from the departmental level to individual undergraduate research projects. The 30 funded awards will support 45 faculty, 19 graduate students/post-doctoral scholars, and 11 undergraduate students. The researchers are drawn from four colleges: Arts & Sciences, Architecture, Engineering, and Education. The 13 departments receiving awards within these colleges range from biological sciences to social work, from physics to educational psychology, and from architecture to biomedical engineering.
