Walsh University OT students had the opportunity to attend the Community Freedom Summit and deepen their understanding of human trafficking and the resources available within our community.

Students connected with local organizations and community resources working to support survivors and combat human trafficking. They also heard from a keynote speaker who highlighted the importance of servant leadership and building awareness at every level of an organization to help recognize and respond to human trafficking.

We are grateful for opportunities like this that allow our students to learn directly from community leaders and expand their understanding beyond the classroom!

Let’s welcome the MOT Class of 2028 for their first semester of OT school & welcome back the MOT Class of 2027 for their last didactic semester! Both classes came together to eat, chat, and take pictures at the annual potluck! Good luck to all of these wonderful students!🍎📚

Assistive Device Designs!

Our 1st year students created unique adaptive devices for their Environmental and Technological Interventions class. The devices were made for a wide range of different conditions and considerations, such as spinal cord injuries, arthritis, weakness, stroke, and many more. We loved to see all the creativity and hard work each student put into their special adaptive device.🔨🎨

Today our 1st year OT students celebrated their half way point through OT school! They celebrated with cake & cookies before heading on their break before fall semester where they will become 2nd-year students and help welcome the incoming class!♥️💛
