On May 12th, members of the Association of Alumnae gathered at the Sweeten Alumni House to celebrate this year’s recipients of the Fathers’ Trophy, Continuing Education Award, Robert J. Alig Student Leadership Award, and Mazzatenta Scholarships.-

The evening brought together alumni, students, and supporters in recognition of leadership, scholarship, and continued impact within the Penn community.

The event will feature remarks on civic engagement & leadership by Kareem Rosser, Executive Vice President of Chamounix Equestrian Center & an international polo champion.

Proceeds from the Philadelphia Polo Match and Scholarship Fundraiser will support the Rosemary D. Mazzatenta Scholars Award & other awards/programs sponsored by the Association of Alumnae, that help expand opportunities for undergraduate women at UPenn. We appreciate your contributions!

Upcoming Wellness Event - April 18th

We are delighted that Elisa Foster, Director of the Penn Women‘s Center, will be speaking at next Saturday’s event. As Director of PWC, Elisa supports and advocates for gender equity among all areas of the campus community. Elisa focuses on PWC’s educational programming, community outreach, and on mentoring key student groups such as PAGE (Penn Association for Gender Equity).

Lauren graduated magna cm laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Communication, History, and Women’s Studies. She went on to earn her MSW & JD.
