Thank you to the 30+ Scarlet Knights from Rutgers Track & Field and Rutgers Women's Rowing who volunteered at Saturdays in Motion (SIM) this October and helped create a fun, inclusive, and welcoming environment for children with autism.
Saturdays in Motion (SIM) is the longest-running non-public recreational program for children (ages 3-17) with autism in the United States. Autistic children (ages 3-17) and their families join Somerset Hills YMCA on Saturdays for two hours of recreation (3 – 5 p.m.). Volunteers lead the program and carefully guide the children through gym and pool time.
