There were eight women who were instrumental in the foundation and growth of Upsilon Theta Zeta.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc Upsilon Theta Zeta(UTZ) Chapter was chartered in Lexington, KY on April 23, 2005 at the Great Lakes Regional Conference. This Group of women saw a need for community involvement within the city and outskirts of Redford, MI.
