Join us for HSO’s End of the Year Potluck — a night full of good food, good vibes, and even better company 🫶

We will also be hosting our board elections during the event — attendance is required for those who would like to claim their position.

As the semester comes to a close, we’re excited for what’s ahead! HSO Elections for 2026–2027 are now open, and applications are available! 🗳️✨

This is your opportunity to get involved, make an impact, and help lead events and initiatives that celebrate and uplift the Hmong community at Metropolitan State University. 💛 Whether you’re passionate about culture, leadership, or connecting with others, there’s a place for you on the board! 🌟

Join us for an evening of music, dancing, food, and celebration at our Spring Dance. Come dressed in formal or semi-formal attire and bring a masquerade mask to match the theme. It’s a great chance to connect, have fun, enjoy some good food, and make lasting memories with fellow students.

👗 Dress Code: Formal or semi-formal attire with a masquerade mask 🎭

🚗Parking is available at Metro State University’s Parking Lot (max $8), with additional free street parking nearby.

Hi everyone!! My name is Iris, and I’m excited to serve as HSO’s Public Relations for 2026! I’m currently in my second year at Metro, majoring in Nursing. In my free time, I love thrifting, sewing, and (honestly) spending a lot of time studying lol. I joined HSO to connect more deeply with my community and to build meaningful friendships and connections. I’m so excited for this upcoming year and can’t wait to meet new faces and create amazing memories together :)

Hello everyone! My name is Aaron and I will be your Historian for HSO! I’m currently in my junior year at Metro and majoring in Computer Information Technology. I’ve been part of the HSO Board since 2024 and was the previous Public Relations Officer. I’ve joined HSO to make new friends within the community and build long-lasting memories! Hi everyone! My name is Maylin and I am HSO’s treasury for this semester. I’m in my last year at Metro studying accounting. Some things I love doing outside of HSO is bake, do DIY crafts and watch movies and tv shows. NEW 2026 BOARD 🎉

Hey y’all, my name is Boschee and I am the Secretary for HSO! I’m studying Business Administration and a couple of other things in my final 2 semesters here at Metro.
The reason I joined was to find a new community to be part of and create memories with. Some things I do outside of school and HSO include: singing, playing games, leg days at the gym, longboarding, and volleyball and flag football. I’m happy to be here and look forward to our semester together!

Hello! My name is Melanie P Vang and I am HSO’s Vice President. I am majoring in Finance and will be graduating Spring 2027. I joined HSO to be closer with the Hmong community and to have a space where Hmong people are supported and thriving. NEW 2026 BOARD 🎉

Hello! My name is Katherine Tang, I am the current president of HSO. I am in my senior year and majoring in business administration. I joined HSO to bring myself back to my roots as well as hoping to inspire others to do the same. During my free time I like to explore crafting Kpop inspired items and I (secretly) sometimes sell my crafts at pop-up events (maybe one day we will cross paths lol). This will be my last semester and I hope to make it an exciting one for everyone!
