🕊️ Honoring Dolores Huerta
The CSUSM Latino Alumni Chapter joins communities across the nation in mourning the passing of Dolores Huerta, a pioneering labor leader, civil rights advocate, and champion for social justice. Her lifelong dedication to empowering workers, advancing civil rights, and uplifting underserved communities leaves an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come.

As we reflect on her life and contributions, we honor her powerful message of hope and collective action embodied in the words she made famous: “Sí, se puede.”

Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.

Descansa en paz, Dolores Huerta. Your legacy lives on.

🍂 Fall Arts & Lectures season is here 🎉

We're proud to co-sponsor the first of two events this semester: The Canary Code: Designing Workplaces Where Different Minds Thrive, featuring bestselling author and psychologist Ludmila Praslova. Together, we'll explore what it means to create workplaces where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

We invite our CSUSM Latino Alumni community to join us for this thought-provoking evening of learning, reflection, and conversation. Drawing from her experiences as a first-generation academic and neurodivergent woman, Ludmila Praslova will share insights on neuroinclusivity, belonging, and creating environments where different minds can thrive.

Whether you're a leader, professional, student, or lifelong learner, this is a great opportunity to engage with an important topic that impacts our workplaces, communities, and everyday interactions.
