English as a Second Language (ESL) students achieved a milestone earlier this week by writing and orally presenting original short stories before an audience of peers, visiting students, and faculty. 🩵

The event showcased a cross-departmental partnership between ESL and Communication Studies: COMM students paired directly with ESL students, offering collaborative feedback and mutual encouragement leading up to the presentations.

Interdisciplinary initiatives like this build confidence, foster cross-campus connection, and reinforce effective public communication in real-world settings.

Congratulations to all the participating students and faculty leaders for championing student voice and collaboration.
