Hollywood’s newest mega-merger comes with a critical business question: Can Skydance cut costs without cutting away the creativity that gives its studios value?

In Variety’s examination of the $111 billion Paramount–Warner Bros. merger, Leavey Professor Tammy Madsen cautions against pursuing efficiencies at the expense of creative talent.

“Creativity matters,” Madsen says. “If you are too aggressive in eliminating redundancies in the creative parts of the company, you could kill the value.”

During Open House, prospective students stepped into the Leavey classroom for Bronco Tank, a hands-on challenge led by Professor Reginald Duhe and Bronco Tank founder Pranav Bhargava. Through teamwork, creative thinking, and a little friendly competition, they experienced business education in action.
