What a weekend! 🐏✨

A massive thank you to all the incredible Fordham alumni who traveled from near and far to celebrate Jubilee 2026 at Rose Hill. Gathering together is always a powerful reminder of the unmatched strength, history, and deep connection of our community. We loved celebrating your milestones and welcoming you back home.

BUT! The celebration isn't over yet. We can’t wait to reunite with the rest of our Ramily on Friday, June 12, for Block Party 2026 at our Lincoln Center campus.

Go Rams!

JUST IN!

Newly surfaced photos from 2007 showcase a unique collaboration between Fordham faculty, students, and a then-junior at Fordham College at Rose Hill, Lizzy Grant (Lana Del Rey). They all came together for "Dr. N's Rhythm Review," a benefit concert supporting the Bronx African American History Project (BAAHP).

For 23 years, the BAAHP has been dedicated to uncovering cultural, political, and oral histories of African Americans in the Bronx. Today, the project is still going strong with vital new initiatives, including documenting the Black Presence in Co-Op City and other North Bronx neighborhoods.

Special thanks to History Professor Paul Cimbala, Professor Asif Siddiqi, Professor Mark Naison, former Dean Brennan O'Donnell, Professor Mark Chapman, and BAAHP Graduate Assistant Andrew Tiedt for making this unforgettable moment a part of Fordham’s legacy.

What a season for Fordham Softball!

The Rams captured the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship for the 10th time in program history, battling to a thrilling victory over Loyola Chicago. This championship win earned the team its 11th NCAA Tournament appearance, sending it to the Fayetteville Regional.

While their postseason run recently came to an end after hard-fought matchups against Arkansas and Washington, this team gave us so much to celebrate. From individual accolades, including Tournament Most Outstanding Player Victoria Klimaszewski and NFCA All-Region honors for Neleh Nogay and Sadira Forcucci, to an unforgettable team effort, these student-athletes exemplified Fordham’s tradition of excellence.

Congratulations to the entire team and coaching staff on an incredible year. You made the entire university proud!

“Believe in your ability to make it anywhere. You belong in every boardroom, every mountaintop, every C-suite. [...] If you’re not ready when opportunity knocks, take the opportunity anyway.” Famed broadcaster, former TODAY host, and now a proud Ram, Hoda Kotb, joined us at Fordham to share these powerful words with the Class of 2026 at Fordham’s 181st Commencement.

This was our second-largest graduating class in Fordham’s history, a class we’ll miss deeply for their abundance of contributions and leadership they brought to our campuses. Congratulations, Class of 2026. We’re looking forward to your return for the Jubilee and Block Party reunions!

This month, Fordham will celebrate 3,613 graduates crossing the stage, each one representing years of hard work, curiosity, and commitment. From accounting to the theatre, biology to philosophy, their impact is already in motion.

Across the academic year, Fordham will confer nearly 5,700 degrees, a powerful reflection of the scale and diversity of this community.

Congratulations, Class of 2026. We can’t wait to see what you do next.

If your student doesn’t have a job lined up after graduation, know that they’re not alone, and they’re not behind.

As the Class of 2026 steps into a competitive job market, Fordham’s Career Center is helping graduates take a more intentional approach to the search.

From building meaningful connections to strengthening communication skills and focusing on targeted applications, small, strategic steps can make a big difference.

One key reminder: your first job doesn’t have to be your dream job. It should be a place to learn, grow, and build momentum.

Grant, also known as Lana Del Rey, is recognized for transforming “found detritus” into musical poetry and becoming one of the most influential singer-songwriters of her generation.

Wonder, our 2023 commencement speaker, is celebrated for composing some of the most harmonically complex music ever created, with songs like “Part-Time Lover” described as timeless from the very first listen.

Congratulations to James Conway on his invitation to the Cleveland Browns minicamp!

A standout linebacker, Conway leaves Fordham as the NCAA Division I all-time leader in career tackles (595), cementing his place as one of the most dominant defensive players in college football history.

A First Team All-Patriot League selection and Patriot League Football Scholar-Athlete of the Year, his impact on and off the field speaks for itself.

Thirteen Fordham students have earned Santander Open Scholarships, totaling $95,000 in tuition funding!

Designed for hard-working students who need additional financial support to achieve their goals, Fordham students have received a fifth of the awards nationally.

The bank awarded 61 Open Scholarships nationally so far this year as part of its launch of the Santander Open Scholarship fund. Each Open Scholarship is granted based on a combination of academic merit and financial need, spanning up to four years of study.

The scholarships are a continuation of Santander’s growing investment in Fordham, following the nearly half a million dollars the bank committed to the University last year for experiential learning. The relationship between Fordham and Santander has matured well beyond traditional campus recruiting into something more collaborative, and the university’s internal coordination has been key to making it work.

Huge congratulations to our Rams!

This Earth Day, we’re highlighting New York City’s greenest borough, our home, the Bronx 🌎🌳

When people think of New York City, nature isn’t always the first thing that comes to mind. But nearly a quarter of the Bronx is parkland, from old-growth forests to salt marshes to one of the largest botanical gardens in the world.

Just steps from Fordham’s Rose Hill campus, students can explore forests, wetlands, and miles of scenic trails. From Van Cortlandt Park to the Bronx River Greenway, students have direct access to some of the city’s most incredible green spaces.

One year ago today, the world mourned the passing of Pope Francis, the first Jesuit pope whose life and leadership reflected a profound commitment to faith, justice, humility, and service.

His legacy continues to inspire the Fordham community and all those committed to building a more compassionate and just world.

Today, we remember his enduring call to care for the most vulnerable, to lead with mercy, and to build bridges rooted in hope.

Lana Del Rey has entered the James Bond universe!

Fordham alumna Elizabeth (Lizzy) Grant ‘08, as many remember her from her time on campus, wrote the theme song for 007: First Light, the upcoming video game from IO Interactive and Amazon MGM Studios.

Once a philosophy and metaphysics double major, her path from Fordham to Bond is a powerful reminder of where creativity and curiosity can lead, one we're proud to celebrate.

Go Rams!

Taxes, fun? Stay with us!

To close out tax season, what’s often labeled “boring” is actually where Fordham students are finding challenge, impact, and real career momentum. From global firms like PwC to industry leaders like Paramount, Gabelli School of Business students are turning tax internships into hands-on learning experiences that sharpen their skills and open doors.

Through programs like VITA and support from Gabelli’s career resources, they’re not just learning the rules; they’re applying them in real-world settings, building confidence, and even landing full-time offers before graduation.

Turns out, “boring” might just be the foundation for something big.
