Debuting in the Spring of 2017, Acabellas is Purdue University's first diverse all-female A Capella team. We promote leadership and development.

Covering songs ranging from the blues to contemporary pop, AcaBellas bring a fresh new sound to campus.

The Bellas had such a fun and emotional Spring Showcase this year, it was celebration of our hard work, our commitment, and our graduating seniors. We thank everyone who showed up and supported us! We are so glad we got to share our love for each other and the music with everyone.

The Bella’s are so excited for this year’s Spring Showcase! It’s only $5 at the door at 2:30 pm on April 26th. We will be sending off three of our seniors so make sure you are there to show them some love! We have such a fun repertoire to share with everyone, we can’t wait!!

Our last new member highlight this year is Taylor Kennedy! Taylor is a junior studying Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, with minors in Music History and Theory and Psychology. She joined the Bella’s because she has always loved singing and wanted it to continue to be a part of her life in college.
“I also wanted the opportunity to connect with people who are as passionate about music as I am. I love music because it’s universally understood and brings people together.”
Taylor has been such a lovely addition to our family this year. We’re so grateful for all of our new members!!! It is crazy that the school year is almost done and in a few months we will have even more ladies joining us! So excited!

Surprise! We have merch! We worked with and created this super cute design with our ICCAs set displayed on the back. The merch options are options to anyone! Tell your friends and family to support us!! You have until next Thursday at 11:59 pm to order from this site. The site will be posted to our story and later it will be added to the linktree. It will be delivered to one place and we will distribute them during our spring showcase. If you will not be there or do not have someone who will be, please dm me and we can figure something out. We are super happy about this release and we really hope everyone is as excited as us. Order this week!!!!

On Saturday March 7th, the Purdue AcaBellas had the opportunity to perform at the TED×PurdueU Odyssey Ted Talk right on campus at Loeb Playhouse. We had such a fun time spending our Saturday with the team. We love taking on new performances so we feel so grateful for this experience!! ❤️

The Bellas had such a fun time last Wednesday, March 4th, with Purdue’s treble choral ensemble, the Purduettes!
We’ve been wanting to collaborate with this beautiful group for a while now and we feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to perform and befriend these lovely ladies.
We sang our repertoires and both groups learned a piece together named, “What Happens When a Woman Takes Power,” that included some fun body percussion.
We thank everyone who showed up for the females in your life! We hope everyone enjoyed as much as we did!!

Attention Purdue Students‼️
Do you want to spruce up your friend’s birthday celebration? Or surprise your partner with a lovely rendition of “Birthday Sex?”
If so, you can schedule a birthday serenade by your very own, the Purdue AcaBellas!
We show up to apartments, dorms, Greek houses/co-op houses and houses on campus or close to campus. We do not show up to classes or workplaces. If you would like us to sing more than the two birthday songs, we will need to know far in advanced and discuss prices via dm or email.

(I decided to make a new post for the birthday serenades to clear any confusion. If you have any further questions you can comment or dm us and I will do my best to answer asap.)

Our next new member highlight for this year is Olivia McIntyre! Liv is a sophomore studying psychology with a minor in forensic science. In our ICCAs set for this year, she was one of our soloists, performing “After,” by Muna.
Liv joined the bella’s because she’s been singing her whole life and was apart of Acapella groups all throughout high school! Liv’s family is musical and she grew up being obsessed with music and singing, and she desperately needed that in her college life as well.

“I always felt like choir wasn’t exactly for me but when i found out there was an acapella group on campus I was super excited!”

We are so blessed to have such a talented and supportive member!

Last weekend, the Purdue AcaBellas competed in the 2026 ICCA quarterfinal at Warren Central High School in Indianapolis. The show was moved earlier in the day by two hours to beat the snow storm. Immediately after awards, we all drove home in the midst of the snow. We are so grateful to the loved ones who came out to see us perform. We had so much fun preparing this years set! The theme was rebirth through transformation. With a limited amount of time, we are proud of all that we accomplished with this piece. We thank for another amazing year ❤️
