OLFU College of Pharmacy Conducts Dual Orientation and Wellness Seminars for 1st and 2nd Year Students
ANTIPOLO CITY — The Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) College of Pharmacy will hold a joint academic seminar series on September 10, 2026, at the JSB AVR, tailored specifically for first- and second-year Pharmacy students.
The initiative aims to prepare pharmacy students for high-level laboratory coursework while establishing fundamental strategies for academic resilience.
Session 1: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Foundations of Laboratory Safety
Designed to establish institutional safety standards early in the pharmacy curriculum, this session covers core laboratory protocols, risk mitigation, and proper handling procedures ahead of experimental coursework.
Session 2: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Stress Management and Study Habits Seminar
Theme: “Building Balance: Managing Academic Challenges and Developing Effective Study Practices”
Focused on student well-being and academic adaptation, this workshop provides actionable strategies for managing heavy course loads, preventing burnout, and developing sustainable study techniques.
Attendance is mandatory for all 1st- and 2nd-year Pharmacy students as part of their academic orientation for the term.
