𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐘, 𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐈𝐃𝐒?? 𐦂𖨆𐀪𖠋

The not-so-awaited time of the semester is finally here — 𝗠𝗜𝗗𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗠 𝗘𝗫𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞!

Ready your materials, whether it's your pens, pencils, T-squares, or even just your prayers! Make sure everything is set before the big day. And maybe get a little extra good luck from your special someone too? 👀

As we face this semester's midterms, let's give it our all, trust in the hard work we've put in, and keep our faith strong. Whatever the results may be, let's remember to stay positive, keep moving forward, and trust that every effort brings us a step closer to our goals.

And as we take on every challenge, may we find comfort and guidance in His words;

𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝟏𝟒:𝟐𝟔

"𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗲𝗿, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁, 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲, 𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂."

Good luck, Arkids! May your minds stay sharp, and your faith remain steady.

“𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞𝐞𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫.”

This Gospel reminds us that following God is not always easy because we may face challenges, doubts, and questions about our faith. The Pharisees gathered together after hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, showing us how people sometimes focus more on challenging others than understanding the truth. Through this passage, we are reminded to approach God’s teachings with an open heart and a willingness to learn.

As Christians, we should not focus only on knowing the Word of God but also on applying it to our daily lives. Our faith should be shown through our actions, words, and how we treat other people. We should choose kindness over anger, understanding over judgment, and love over hatred. Sometimes, we may encounter people who disagree with us or test our patience, but we must remember to respond with humility and wisdom rather than pride.

Let us always ask God to guide us in understanding His Word and living according to His will. May we become people who do not simply hear His teachings but also practice them with sincerity. Through our faith, may we inspire others to know God's love and goodness.

The United Architects of the Philippines Student Auxiliary – Saint Louis College Chapter (UAPSA-SLC) proudly celebrates World Architecture Day 2026, bringing students together to share their creativity, learn new ideas, and reflect on how architecture can make a difference in people's lives.

The first day began with an opening prayer led by Jeanne Rexelle Fontanilla, UAPSA Vice President for Planning and Development, followed by the opening remarks of UAPSA President, Ivan Doloque. The celebration officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by the UAPSA-SLC Adviser, Ar. Princess de la Cruz-Casem, UAP, marking the start of a day filled with learning, creativity, and meaningful experiences.

One of the highlights was the special seminar for fifth-year Architecture students, “𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧: 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞,” facilitated by 𝐀𝐫. 𝐃𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐧𝐞 𝐉𝐚𝐩𝐬𝐨𝐧, 𝐔𝐀𝐏. The seminar gave students an opportunity to look at sustainability from a fresh perspective and better understand how future architects can create spaces that are not only environmentally friendly but also meaningful and beneficial to the people who use them.

Creativity also filled Lovers Lane, in front of the Fr. Alfred Spincemaille, CICM, Administrative Building, through the Free-for-All Chalk Art Activity. Students were free to express themselves through art, turning an ordinary campus space into a colorful display of imagination, talent, and shared experiences.

Meanwhile, in line with this year's theme, “𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐬 𝐚 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭, 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐈𝐭," students took part in the Art Interpretation Competition held from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM. With their pencils and drawing materials ready, participants brought their own interpretations of the theme to life through their artwork. Each piece reflected the importance of having a safe and decent place to call home, reminding everyone that architecture is not just about designing buildings, but also about creating spaces where people can live with dignity, comfort, and a sense of belonging.
