Over the past few days, the Guidance and Counseling Office, alongside the CHTM Peer Facilitators Group, officially rolled out the "Open Doors, Open Minds: A Classroom-Based Mental Health Awareness Campaign" for our 2nd and 3rd-year BSTM and BSHM students conducted last October 19, 20 and 26, 2026 at the Conference Hall, 2nd Floor, Hostel Building, PSU San Jose Campus! 🏨✈️🧠
In alignment with CHED Memorandum Order No. 18, s. 2026 and SDGs 3 & 4, this 3-day initiative brought safe spaces, preventive mental health check-ins, and open conversations straight to our CHTM community.

Partido State University proudly congratulates the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) – San Jose Campus for capping its performance with a back-to-back overall championship victory at the National Tourism and Hospitality Convention 2026, bringing home eight awards from the two-day competition held in Legazpi City, Albay.

Organized by Mayon Global Careers Co., the convention took place at the Ibalong Centrum for Recreation and the Albay Astrodome under the theme, “AI-Powered Tourism & Hospitality: Redefining the Future Through Innovation, Intelligence, and Exceptional Guest Experience.”

ParSU-San Jose claimed four championship titles, one first runner-up finish, and three second runner-up placements, showcasing the delegates’ skills, creativity, and professional competence across various tourism and hospitality disciplines.

The activity equipped faculty and administrative personnel with essential knowledge and practical skills to recognize signs of stress, provide initial emotional support, practice self-care, and connect colleagues to appropriate support services when needed.

Through this meaningful initiative, we are reminded that creating a mentally healthy workplace begins with empathy, active listening, and genuine care for one another. Because behind every dedicated employee is a person whose mental well-being matters. 💚

Organized by Mayon Global Careers Co., the event was held at the Ibalong Centrum for Recreation and the Albay Astrodome in Legazpi City, Albay, from October 9 to 10, 2026.

It featured various competitions that brought together students from across the region in a celebration of professionalism, creativity, and college pride. Among the participating institutions were Sorsogon State University (SorSU), Bicol College (BC), Mariners, STI College, Osmeña College, and many others.

Delegates from ParSU-CHTM showcased exceptional creativity and professional excellence, securing a total of eight awards across various competitive categories.
