𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: The Tarlac State University ROTC Unit, under the 302nd Tarlac Community Defense Center (302CDC), 3rd Regional Community Defense Group (3RCDG), RESCOM, Philippine Army, successfully conducted its 𝐓𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐟𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐚𝐲 for the 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝟏 Training Program on 𝟐𝟓 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 at the TSU Lucinda Campus. The training combined practical drills and classroom discussions to strengthen the cadets’ discipline, military competence, situational awareness, and readiness to face various challenges.

The morning session focused on the 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐬, facilitated by 𝟐𝐋𝐓 𝐑𝐢𝐳𝐳𝐚 𝐑 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐳𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐆𝐒 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), with the assistance of the Graduate Military Assistants (GMA): 𝐏𝐯𝐭 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥 𝐂 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐳 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), 𝐏𝐯𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐋𝐲𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), 𝐏𝐯𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐦 𝐒 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), and 𝐏𝐯𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐚 𝐑 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐳𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬). Through structured drills, the cadets practiced precise movements, proper timing, coordination, and responsiveness to commands, reinforcing the discipline and military bearing expected of every cadet.

The training continued with a classroom discussion on 𝐂𝐲𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, led by 𝐂𝐩𝐥 𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚 𝐎 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 (𝐈𝐧𝐟) 𝐏𝐀, Instructor. The session highlighted the importance of protecting personal information, recognizing online threats, and practicing responsible digital behavior.

In the afternoon, the cadets attended a classroom discussion on 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬, facilitated by 𝐏𝐯𝐭 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐂 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐳 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬). The discussion emphasized adaptability, sound judgment, mental resilience, and the ability to respond effectively in challenging situations.

Through a combination of military drills and classroom instruction, the Twelfth and Thirteenth Training Day strengthened the cadets’ foundational military skills while broadening their knowledge of cybersecurity and survival. Each session reinforced the importance of discipline, vigilance, resilience, and sound decision-making in shaping capable and responsible future leaders.

The Tarlac State University ROTC Unit extends its heartfelt condolences and highest respect in honor of 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐌 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐨, who served as Corps Commander of the TSU ROTC Unit during Academic Year 1989–1990.

During the morning session, MS1 basic cadets participated in drills and classroom instruction, strengthening their discipline, alertness, and ability to follow commands. They also attended discussions on the 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐚𝐰 and 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐲𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, both facilitated by 𝐏𝐅𝐂 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐁 𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬). The lessons emphasized the importance of upholding the law, respecting justice, maintaining personal cleanliness, and practicing proper sanitation to promote the health, discipline, and readiness of every cadet.

In the afternoon, the cadets continued their classroom instruction with a lesson on 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐢𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭, facilitated by 𝟐𝐋𝐓 𝐑𝐈𝐙𝐙𝐀 𝐑 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐃𝐎𝐙𝐄𝐍 𝐀𝐆𝐒 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐄𝐒). The discussion focused on essential emergency response knowledge and life-saving techniques, equipping cadets with the foundational skills needed to provide immediate assistance and respond effectively to medical emergencies.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: The Tarlac State University ROTC Unit formally marked the opening of the 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 for the 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 of S.Y. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕 on 𝟏𝟏 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 at the TSU Lucinda Campus. These cadets are set to undergo demanding training designed to develop their leadership abilities, discipline, and readiness to take on greater responsibilities. Meanwhile, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐏 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭, 𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐏 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, delivered the welcome remarks, highlighting the value of ROTC in nurturing responsible, disciplined, and service-oriented young Filipinos.

‎The highlight of the ceremony was the keynote address delivered by guest speaker 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐋𝐏𝐓 𝐌𝐏𝐀, 𝐈𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐈. He challenged the cadets to recognize their responsibility in shaping the character and values of the next generation, emphasizing this through his words: “𝐀𝐧𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐭 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐚𝐰𝐢𝐧? ‎In the afternoon, the Unit continued its activities through the 𝐄𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬, which included classroom instruction on 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, facilitated by 𝐏𝐯𝐭 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐧, 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐄𝐒). The session reinforced the importance of strong values, personal growth, and responsible conduct in shaping cadets into disciplined individuals and future leaders committed to serving the nation.
