Here is the video that was shown at the gala: https://youtu.be/3CgiLAYH45c?si=-L38GKy4kkNJjaoD

Dr. Benavot wrote this about about Taya Owens: "The Department of Educational Policy and Leadership at the University at Albany-SUNY takes great pride in Taya’s many accomplishments, both during her time as a doctoral student and since. Her exceptional analytical abilities; her nuanced grasp of shifting education policies; her exemplary service to local, national and international communities; her deep respect for her interlocutors, whatever their background and station in life – are among her many qualities. During her brief visit to Albany, she set aside time to meet with EPL faculty and graduate students, all came away from these encounters with a sense of insight and joy. We wish her continued success in public diplomacy and many years of impactful service."
