What do you do when a massive robotic fleet goes down across the globe? If you’re Wentworth alum Julian Mancini (Computer Science '23), you hop on a plane to Japan with 36 hours' notice and turn a two-month recovery project into a two-week success story!

Now an RTS Hardware Support Engineer II at Amazon Robotics, Julian credits his ability to tackle massive, high-stakes tasks to his Wentworth co-ops and computing classes.

His advice for current and future engineers? "In a world where everyone is using AI to gain an edge, figure out how to build that human connection. You can be as smart as you want, but you need to be able to win people over if you want your idea to prevail."

Wentworth Institute of Technology officially installed its new Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society chapter this spring! 🎉

As the nation's oldest engineering honor society, becoming the latest collegiate chapter (Massachusetts Lambda) is a huge achievement for the Douglas D. Schumann School of Engineering. To mark the milestone, a beautiful monument of the society's symbol, the "bent," was designed by Industrial Design Professor Simon Williamson and installed in the Wentworth Quad.

We are so proud of our students, faculty, and alumni for continuing Wentworth's century-long commitment to excellence in engineering. 🐆🔧
