📍 The New York Public Library, Barbara Goldsmith Conservation Lab

📍 Summer location: Indiana State Library & The Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfiel
🔬 Summer project: This summer I treated various maps of the Northwest Territories in celebration for the library’s America 250 exhibition. At Newfields, I did a batch treatment of 30 etchings of views of Rome along with the mending of a miniature Jaques Callot etching.
🌻 Highlight: The highlight of my summer was getting to do pigment analysis in the amazing conservation science lab at Newfields!
🎒 Bringing back: I’m bringing back more confidence and excitement to try new treatment techniques!

📍 The New York Public Library, Barbara Goldsmith Conservation Lab
🔬 Summer project: I treated a poster advertising a magic show for the 19th century magician, Kellar. I also treated an architectural print, an architectural drawing on transparent paper, and examined several of Robert Burns’ manuscripts.
🌻 Highlight: Looking at all the cute little monsters on my Kellar poster!
🎒 Bringing back: Many new skills and friendships!

📍 Princeton University Art Museum
🔬 Summer project: I treated two paintings in the PUAM collection, a 1917 painting by German Expressionist Gabriele Münter, and a 1966 painting by Bosulu-Stanislas.
🌻 Highlight: Many walks to the local ice cream shops, and a weekend trip to Shenandoah National Park.
