On Tuesday, November 3, 2026, voters across the nation will participate in the midterm elections.
At HBC&U Legacies, we recognize the historical significance of civic engagement and the powerful role HBCU students, alumni, and communities have played in advancing voting rights.
We believe that awareness precedes action, and informed participation strengthens communities.
That’s why we’re introducing V.O.I.C.E., our civic engagement and voter empowerment initiative!
🗳️ V — VOTE: Exercise your right! Verify your registration, research the issues, and make your voting plan.
🤝🏾 O — ORGANIZE: Mobilize your circle! Connect with friends, classmates, campus organizations, and community networks.
📚 I — INFORM: Knowledge is power! Research candidates, understand the issues, and share accurate information.
🌍 C — COMMUNITY: Utilize your village! Connect with resources that help remove barriers to voting, including transportation, documentation, and voter assistance.
✊🏾 E — EMPOWER: Own your power! Encourage civic participation, inspire leadership, and remain engaged beyond Election Day.
From the classroom to the campus, from the yard to our communities, civic engagement is part of building a legacy.
As November 3 approaches, take time to learn about the candidates, issues, and voting procedures in your community.
