UCSB Sigma Phi Epsilon

UCSB Sigma Phi Epsilon Sigma Phi Epsilon Cal Gamma, better known as SigEp. ΣΦΕ Founded at UCSB in 1947, SigEp has grown to become the largest fraternity on campus.

In addition to various social events and philanthropies, SigEps are involved in all areas of campus life ranging from the Accounting Association to the UCSB Surf Team. On a larger scale Sigma Phi Epsilon is a college fraternity with chapters on 240 campuses nationwide. SigEp has 15,000 undergraduates, the most of any national fraternity. More than 290,000 men have joined SigEp since its founding in Richmond, Va on November 1, 1901.

This weeks Brother of the week goes out to Ryan Haling. Ryan is a senior Mechanical Engineering Major from Canton, Georgia and is pursuing further education at UC Berkeley for aerospace engineering next year.
Ryan or “fruit” as he’s known in the streets for reasons we truly don’t know has turned heads for his abilities in the weight room and becoming the first UCSB student to successfully bench press Michael Cisneros for one clean rep. Good job Ryan!

But contrary to popular belief Ryan does many more activities than just lifting weights, or so he claims… These other hobbies consist of baptizing sahand in any sport he deems worthy of baptizing sahand in, eating darius’s body weight in protein for dinner every night and playing video games with his furry little sidekick… We are pretty sure his name is James.

We’ll miss you next year Ryan, but we want to thank you and wish you the best of luck❤️haling
