The Belhaven Blazers Band is the Band program for Belhaven University, a Christian University located in the heart of Jackson, MS. Made up from almost every field of study, it is one of the largest co-ed organizations on the campus. The band is a vital part of the Belhaven University; performing at all home football games, parades, concerts, and other arts venues. Auditions, or a recommendation fr
om your previous band director, are required. After your audition, you are eligible for the band ensemble scholarship, and can also obtain additional scholarships from other performing ensembles. Band members consistently gain recognition on campus, and are active in many campus organizations. Other university ensembles open to membership are the Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, BU Chorale, and numerous chamber groups.
