• The UWM Violin Studio welcomes violin students who want to deepen their technical and musical skills and knowledge in a safe, non-judgmental and nurturing environment.
• Through weekly lessons and masterclasses, students develop a clear understanding of the mind-body relationships and are able to build a healthy and efficient technique, allowing them to express them self effortlessly and effici
ently.
• Through performances on campus and in the community, collaborations with other musical organization (MYSO, Latina Arts, MPS…), students are encouraged to develop a greater sense of social involvement and social justice.
• Through the study of a wide range of repertoire ranging from the baroque era to today’s music, classical and non-classical genres, students develop a strong sense of musicianship and are equipped to work in many different professional settings.
• The UWM Violin Studio violin masterclasses with guests allow students to forge connections with leading educators and musicians from the United States and around the world. The UWM Violin Studio is proud of its diversity and fosters a sense of tolerance and inclusivity.
