Set in a vibrant neighborhood at the heart of the Twin Cities, Augsburg University offers more than 50 undergraduate majors and 11 graduate degrees to 3,000 students of diverse backgrounds. Earlier this month, Professor Katie Welle Clark ’10 MAN, ’14 DNP was recognized as part of the 2026 cohort of fellows by the American Academy of Nursing at the annual Health Policy Conference in Washington, DC. She is Augsburg University’s first faculty member to receive this prestigious honor, which recognizes nurses who have made extraordinary, far-reaching contributions to health care. Join us in saying goodbye to the beautiful elm tree in the Quad, which has overseen so many special moments. From student involvement fairs to Taste of Augsburg, from ice cream socials to Auggie Days—this tree has been there for it all. It's being removed due to Dutch Elm disease.
