Center for Community-Engaged Learning, U of M

Center for Community-Engaged Learning, U of M The CCEL is an office at the University of Minnesota that serves students, staff, faculty, and alumni.

We help the UofM community connect to nonprofits in the Twin Cities community. Have you ever tutored someone, served a meal at a homeless shelter, or cleaned up a city park? Or are you thinking about volunteering for the first time? Whether you're just beginning to volunteer or have lots of experience with it, the Center for Community Engaged Learning (CCEL) can help you find great opportunities i

n the Twin Cities. We can also help you learn how to combine volunteer work with academic study through service-learning classes, and how to get recognition for your commitment to community work through the Community Engagement Scholars Program. Our advisers will answer all your questions and provide in-depth guidance.
