XC - Sept. 4 - Foothills Invitational - Oxford, Ala.
The Faulkner cross country teams have opened each of their five seasons at this annual Jacksonville State-hosted event at Choccolocco Park.

Football - Sept. 5 - vs. Union Commonwealth - Billy D. Hilyer Stadium
In 2011, the two teams met and combined for 184 points with the Eagles taking a 95-89 victory in triple overtime.

Men's Soccer - Sept. 19 vs. William Carey - Billy D. Hilyer Stadium
William Carey comes back in town after the teams split 2-1 results last season. The Eagles upset William Carey on Oct. 23 and highlighted Head Coach Gabi de Queiroz's team's resume for its first national tournament appearance last season.

Women's Soccer - Sept. 24 vs. Brewton-Parker - Billy D. Hilyer Stadium
Two founding members of the Southern States Athletic Conference battle in a crucial contest starting an important run of games for Jon Ireland back for his first year of his second tenure has head coach.

Golf - Sept. 28-29 - Invite at Innisbrook - Palm Harbor, Fla.
The event, hosted by Dalton State, will feature a highly competitive field at the resort that hosts the PGA Tour's Valspar Championship. The men will compete on the tour course, while the women will play on the South Course.

Volleyball - Oct. 16 vs. William Carey - Tine Davis Gymnasium
Not only is it a massive conference matchup, but an incredible chance to honor our Head Coach of 22 seasons, Tori Renda in her last year leading the volleyball team. We will be welcoming back alums who have represented the team over the past two decades.

Men's Basketball - Nov. 3 - vs. Stillman - Tine Davis Gymnasium
Scott Sanderson's team plays its third game of the year after a Round of 16 appearance last year.

Women's Basketball - Dec. 5 - vs. Loyola - Tine Davis Gymnasium
These two teams have battled frequently and fiercely over the years and on Dec. 5, Loyola comes to town one last time before the Wolf Pack go to D2 next season.

Congrats to former Baseball Eagle Shawn Ross! Shawn was promoted to the Pittsburgh Pirate big league club. In his second game which was his first start in the majors, he hit a two run homer to put his team in the lead for good. After that game he was picked by the Mets organization. At the time this was written he was playing with the Triple-A Syracuse Mets.

Faulkner University alumnus Ryan Frederick serves as the pulpit minister at Lakeside Church of Christ in Orange Park, Florida, where he preaches, teaches and ministers to the congregation. Frederick said his time at Faulkner University played a pivotal role in shaping both his faith and career path. Although he did not originally arrive on campus intending to become a minister, his experiences at Faulkner ultimately guided him toward ministry.

“My four years at Faulkner truly changed my life course,” Frederick said. “My classmates, teachers and the staff at Faulkner provided a godly atmosphere for students like myself to learn, grow and have the kind of experiences that pushed me closer to God and wanting to serve Him.”

We’re proud to highlight the legacy of Faulkner Law alumnus Greg Allen (’82)! ⚖️🦅

A recent Montgomery Independent story by Jeff Martin, “Jere and Greg: Before Beasley Allen Became Beasley Allen,” takes a look at the humble beginnings of Beasley Allen Law Firm and Greg’s instrumental role in helping former Lt. Gov. Jere Beasley build the firm into an important part of the Montgomery community.

Throughout his career, Greg has made a lasting impact on the legal profession, downtown Montgomery and the many attorneys he has mentored along the way. His legacy is also honored at Faulkner Law, where the law center proudly bears his name.

We’re grateful for the leadership, service and mentorship Greg has provided to generations of legal professionals and proud to call him a Faulkner Law alumnus. 🦅⚖️

🏈 It's almost time for Eagles football!

Mark your calendars for Friends and Family Weekend as we kick off the first home game of the season and celebrate a bit of Faulkner Football history!

The historic triple-overtime football game between Faulkner and Union Commonwealth University (then Union College) took place on November 12, 2011, with Faulkner winning a record-setting 95-89 thriller! This stood as one of the highest-scoring games in college football history. With all of that Offensive scoring, it took a fourth-down Defensive stop by Faulkner in the third overtime to secure the win.

On Saturday September 5, 2025 (9-5), Union Commonwealth University will be back to play our Faulkner University Eagles with a 12 noon kick-off on John Mark Stallings Field in Billy D. Hilyer Stadium!

Bring your family, invite your friends and join us on campus for an exciting day of Eagle spirit, fellowship and football. Let's pack the stands and cheer the Eagles on to victory! 🦅💙
