SparkWheel is hiring a Post-Secondary Student Support Coordinator at Independence Community College in Independence, Kansas.

This role supports students as they navigate college life, connect with resources, and work toward their academic, personal, and career goals. Post-Secondary Student Support Coordinators help students overcome barriers, build confidence, and stay engaged as they move through college and prepare for what comes next.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about student success, relationship-building, and helping students persist, complete, and thrive beyond high school.

The English advisory board met last Thursday, April 23rd. We really appreciate the time and expertise of those serving on the advisory board. The advisory board members able to attend our meeting this year were:

Kelynn Heardt (Career Technical Education Coordinator, Pittsburg High School)
Jeremy Johnson (Program Evaluator, Greenbush)

Michaela Ozier (Director, PSU Center for READing)
Kim Hull (Director, PSU Career Services).
We are excited to use our conversations in this meeting to better the English program at PSU.
