Today we remember Mrs. Barbara Guinn Tidwell on the fourth anniversary of her passing.

Mrs. Tidwell’s passion, dedication, and unwavering commitment created a legacy that continues to inspire generations of Strutters. Through her leadership, she built more than a collegiate dance team, she created a sisterhood founded on excellence, tradition, and pride.

Four years later, her legacy is still felt in every kick line, every performance, and every Strutter who proudly carries on the traditions she established.

Today, we celebrate and remember the remarkable woman who started it all ❤️

❤️It was all about love in Strutter land yesterday! Our Strutters Always president Sylvia led a powerful board meeting with lots of great things to come. Summer socials plans are in the works!Football season will be packed with alum activities! Next we enjoyed our well-attended Strutter Alum Wine Social. And then we were amazed at the truly Broadway level Strutters Spring Spectacular!! ✨Wow!!!✨

A giant thank you to our awesome Dance Team Day Hostesses!! You braved the HILL and the rain and stayed calm and personable with 18 school dance teams!! Oh, the show was fabulous!

Today we honor and remember O.C. Haley on the anniversary of his passing, a man whose impact on Strutters continues to resonate in powerful ways.

During his time on campus, O.C. served as the very first Strutter Manager and was active in the original fraternity, Alpha Psi, now known as Kappa Sigma.

In addition to his many other awards from the University, he was named to the Strutters “Hall of Fame” and honored as a Strutter “Giant” for his major contributions to the Strutters organization.

His legacy lives on through the O.C. Haley Scholarship Endowment Fund, a testament to his belief in investing in the future generations of young women and preserving the traditions he held so dear.

We are forever grateful for his generosity and the lasting mark he left on our Strutter family.
