SUNY Maritime College is an award winning US Sailing Community Sailing facility and a US Powerboating Training Center. We offer hands-on powerboat and
sailing lessons, community sailing and an action packed "Boat Camp." Explore all New York Maritime’s waterfront has to offer in this jam packed two weeks of activity. Discover sailing aboard a 23' keelboat with an instructor and your friends as crew, learn how to safely operate a powerboat with hands-on training, earn your New York State Boating Safety Certificate, try SCUBA diving, paddle around in kayaks, splash in the pool, go fishing, explore the fish, crabs and other marine organisms on the shore with nets and enjoy games and initiatives that foster self-confidence, communication, and teamwork. Lunch, life jackets and all safety equipment are included. Life is to short not to get on the water!
