Congratulations to our Robbins College Pure Gold recipients for the month of April! 🎉🎉

Pure Gold for Teaching: Dr. Tricia Blalock

"Dr. Blalock's teaching style is creative and impactful for both current students, as well as prospective students. Recently, the RCHHS hosted I2E, where Dr. Blalock lectured through an engaged session, Health by Design. A high school senior told me that the reason she will accept her Baylor acceptance into the HSS major was because of the impact that lecture had on her. This development of our future students, before they have even matriculated into our classrooms, is deserving of recognition!"

Pure Gold for Service: Dr. Brent Dragoo

"Dr. Brent Dragoo exemplifies excellence through unwavering accountability and work ethic. He represents MSMS with vigor at Health Fairs, actively attends conferences, and spearheads essential partnerships with medical schools through articulation agreements, all for the betterment of our students. His dedication strengthens our mission. We are fortunate to have him as a colleague and blessed to call him friend."

Congratulations to Dr. Matthea Williams for receiving the March Pure Gold award for Culture! 🎉🎉

"Matthea’s endless work as Co-Chair for the Community and Belonging Committee has had a meaningful impact on Robbins College, making her an ideal candidate for the Pure Gold Award in the area of Culture. In particular, her work in organizing the Belonging event created a thoughtful, faith-based space for open dialogue and discussion regarding our history and collective future. Her passion and commitment have helped emphasize what true belonging at Baylor should look like."
