We offer a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design that prepares students for the broad fiel

Our program values the importance of creating interior spaces that support the health, safety and welfare of all users while also exploring creative, visually pleasing, environmentally conscious, culturally responsive and accessible design solutions that are supported by appropriate use of materials and emerging technologies.

We had a great time IIDA Mid-America Portfolios and Professionals hosted by Integrated Design Firm . The students listened to various speakers on the topic of self promotion through resume and portfolio development. The loved the tour of DLR Group offices (they’re still talking about it!) and finished the day with a collage experience that explored favorite design elements, typography and color palettes. Huge thanks to all the IIDA Mid-America volunteers who planned and executed a great event!

Interior Design Studio I toured Humphreys Hall with alumna Stephanie Keeton Hollis + Miller Architects architects. She had so many great insights into the design process and pointed out all the features of our newest building on campus.

UCM interior design was thrilled to work with alumnae and .spenser to the Interior Design resource library. We are so grateful for their knowledge and experience with materials to quickly remove dated resources so we can build a more thoughtful library for our students. Next step is replenishment of missing categories.

Our seniors have their thesis projects on display in the Gallery of Art & Design and they are so well done! We are proud to congratulate our December graduates: Nora, Juliet, Kynslie, Nikkita, Emily, and Stormy. Reception tomorrow in the gallery from 12-2.
